This beautiful HP-11A was built by Dean Flemming of Adrian, MI in 1965. The 17m wings made it a great light condition performer which is contrary to the HP reputation. Hugh Tyler contributed approximately 150 hours to the May 1, 1997 flight time total of 686 hours. The following pictures were taken near Jacksonville Florida. The airfield in the background of the first picture is Naval Air Station, Jacksonville. (I sent a fair amount of time there in 1965 when assigned to Heavy Attack Squadron 10 flying A-3B Sky Worriers aboard the USS Franklin D Roosevelt.)
