During the winter of 2007/08 I refinished the wings on my HP-14. At the time I decided to incorporate the gap seal method described in Peter Masak's booklet of performance improvements.
All materials were purchased from Wings and Wheels and are available in the "Mylar Seals / Tapes" section of the online catalogue.
The TEFLON tape is very flexible. By making a loop inside between the control surface minimizes disruption of airflow over the control surfaces and allows the controls to move with no noticeable restriction.
